During the I Volunteering Forum of Ezer La Casa del Voluntariado that was held last week in Chihuahua, Rodolfo Bello Nachón, professor at the Technological Institute of Higher Studies (ITESM), Lorena Vázquez Ordaz, Director in Mexico of The Hunger Project and Sylvia Hernández, responsible for the volunteer program of the same organization; Felipe Herrera, responsible for the “Community and Transformation: Barrio de Roquetes” program that takes place in Barcelona and Emilio Guerra Díaz from the Mexican Volunteer Alliance . Sylvia Hernandez, head of The Hunger Project's Volunteer Program, shared with the audience how her program has been able to motivate the transformation of attitudes, giving the communities certainty of the possibility of changing for the better, who have testified that to achieve better conditions collaborationism is necessary in life. The Volunteering Forum , which was developed from theoretical topics to experiential experiences, showed with Felipe Herrera's presentation a concrete case of highly impactful results of voluntary action when: programs required by the community are combined, social diagnoses are raised, It takes advantage of domestic talent, when the community is organized and all of this is supported by voluntary service. In the Roquetes neighborhood, people are no longer the same since they structured their community and voluntary participation program.
